The third eye and religion.

Can I practice the third eye meditation and still keep my religion?

The answer to this question is ‘of course’. Do you have to change your religion to be a better swimmer or to become better at Suduko?

The relevance and importance of the third eye has been recognized in all religions, especially so in the eastern religions such as Buddhism, Hinduism and Taoism…The Bible also refers to the thirdeye , also called ‘the single eye’.

‘If thy eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light’
Matthew 6: 22

Does this mean if you only have one eye, your body will be filled with light? Obviously not, as all those who have had an eye accident will no doubt testify. The significance of being able to look from the third or single eye, is merely that you have moved away from normal dualistic perception and moved towards a more ‘universal’ perspective.
